1969
Kemco Systems is founded in Milwaukee, WI by Skip Kemberling and the continuous tube Heat Exchanger is perfected.
1974
Kemco introduces Flash Steam and Steam Heating systems to the industry.
1977
Kemco is the first to introduce the 99.7% fuel efficient Direct Contact Water Heater.
1978
Continuing its pioneering role in heat recovery, Kemco introduces the Boiler Stack Economizer.
1979
The first Pre-Packaged, Ready-to-Use Water Systems are marketed to the industry.
1980
Kemco is the first to adopt and utilize Computer Assisted Design (CAD) within the industry.
1983
The first ASME Texas State approval for Direct Contact Waters is awarded to Kemco.
1985
Kemco headquarters relocates to Clearwater, FL.
1986
Kemco implements the first computerized Plant Control System (precursor to the Monarch).
1988
Wastewater Treatment and Filtration systems marketing begins.
1992
The Air Sparged Hydrocyclone (ASH), Vibro Separator (Shaker Screen), and Rotary Screen are introduced.
1996
Program Logic Controls (PLC) are included on all relevant equipment.
1998
Kemco launches the first full computerized plant monitoring and trending system, Monarch Controls.
1999
Kemco continues to pave the way in water reuse and recycle with the advent of the Ceramic Microfiltration (CMF) and Nanofiltration systems
2000
Obtained NSF Certifications and Kemco is among the first to be pre-certified to produce Low NOx Direct Contact Water Heaters.
2004
Kemco introduces new technologies: Turbo Disc Filtration and Cool Down Exchanger.
2015
Kemco installs it’s 5,000th system.
2019
Kemco celebrates their 50th Anniversary.

Kemco introduces Water Recycling as a Service with the release of CONSERVE.
2019
Kemco introduces System Protection for the Future with the release of PROTECT.
2019
Kemco acquires DAF technology leader, Water Resources, Inc.
2019
Kemco Systems acquires Bob Johnson & Associates
